Apostolates

Education:
We are engaged in both formal and non-formal education. Formal education up to Higher Secondary level, Special education for differently abled children and training of special educators is an important aspect of the education ministry.

Health Ministry:
Sisters are engaged in both curative and preventive medical aid to the needy, the sick, specially the poor are treated through our Dispensaries and Hospital. Herbal garden is maintained so that herbal medicine can be used where it is possible.

Social Ministry:
Working for the all-round development of the village/villages especially empowerment of the women through Self Help Groups, tailoring, computer course, fashion designing, beauty culture course, etc. Besides these they also have children’s parliament, Mahilamandal, farmers’ club village health/education committee. Sisters also help the women with the help of the animators to have income generating activities like mushroom cultivation, food processing, candle making, etc., the villagers are also given free legal aid. Villages are enabled through the efforts of the sisters to get benefits from the government schemes to make houses, toilet, LPG connection, ration card and financial aid for the marriage of young girls. Sisters are also working with the Child Help line to save the trafficked children.

Pastoral:
Parish activities are of prime importance. In every community the Sisters are involved in catechizing the young children through regular catechism classes and preparing children for receiving the Sacraments. Visiting families, especially those of the Catholics and praying with them is a regular apostolate.

Formation:
Right now we have two second year novices, six firstyear novices (4 in Gurgaon & 2 in Philippines),5second year postulants and 3 first year postulants.
